Overview

On the India Bangladesh border, Bisnakandi is conveniently located close to Sylhet. It is made up of green hills, clouds, different types of stones, and crystal-clear waters flowing from the northeastern Meghalaya Mountains. 

Swimming quietly or rest on the rocks, all options are available to visitors. 

At the border between Bangladesh and Bisnakandi lies a market called The Border Hut. 

Although there is no established schedule, the hut typically opens every four days. 

Khasian traders offer goods like clothing, cosmetics, and alpine fruit.

Best time to visit

Although visitors can visit Bisnakandi throughout the year, the best months to go are from September toMarch. 

One can go to the major attraction and enjoy it, however heavy equipment and stone boats makeit challenging for tourists to travel. 

The primary attraction, "Zero Point," may be flooded throughout the months of June through September due to the abundant water flow. 

However, you can travel by boat and take in the combined scenery of the river water and green hills.

Arriving to Bisnakandi

It takes 39 kilometres to get reach Sylhet town from Bisnakandi. 

There are numerous cars available for transportation to Bisnakandi from Ambarkhana Point. 

The road is a bit small and can be challenging to travel. 

For the return trip, a CNG auto rickshaw will cost you between Tk. 1000 and Tk. 1500. 

Sharing with other travelers can, however, lower this expense. 

For the return trip, a private microbus rental costsbetween Tk. 3,000 and 4,000. 

For 5 to 6 people, a boat can be rented for Tk. 800–1500. 

Motorbikes or CNG can be rented during the dry season. 

During the wet season, Pirer-Bazar offers boat rentals.
