How to go
Usually, tourists take a vehicle trip to Sarighat, 42 kilometers from the heart of Sylhet, and then charter a boat to Lalakhal.
Any nature lover will find the one and a half hour (mechanized) boat trip over this crystal green water with lush green hills on each side of the river to be a calming sight.
Sarighat is home to a boat station run by Nazimgarh Resort.
From there, you can rent a variety of mechanized boats to get to Lalakhal.
Lalakhal can also be reached via Microbus or private vehicle.
