Ramsagar Dighi (Lake)

The largest artificial lake in Bangladesh is called Ramsagar, and it is located eight kilometers south of the town of Dinajpur near the village of Tejpur. 
The lake's width is roughly 1079 meters north to south and 192.6 meters east to west. 
Raja Ram Nath founded Ramsagar in the middle of the eighteenth century
The lake was dug with the help of almost 1.5 million people at cost of 30,000 TK.
The lake is full of different kinds of fish. There are also freshwater crocodiles.The lake is a secure area for migratory birds. Tourists frequently picnic there around the Ramsagar.In the vicinity of the Ramsagar Lake, the Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation has improved restrooms, picnic areas, kiosks that sell refreshments, and playgrounds for children.

Ramsagar National Park 

Ramsagar National Park covers total area of around 60 square kilometers. 
The Forest Department of Bangladesh has planted numerous varieties of fruit and decorative trees, which have flourished and transformed areas into forests. 
Several creatures, including deer, wild boars, blue bulls, sloth bears, and hyenas, can be found in the national park. 
The White-Breasted Water Hen, Jacanas, Moorhen, River Tern, Sand Piper, Ringed Plover, and Grey and Purple Herons are among the birds that can be spotted there. 
Additionally, migrating birds can safely travel via the lake.
